I love beer, and I quit drinking.

That creates quite a problem, right?

In August 2017, I quit drinking for health reasons. What health reason, you might ask? None of your goddamn business, I reply (in my crankiest old man voice).

That being said, I couldn’t even fathom a life without beer. Being of German/English heritage, the love for the hops runs thick through my blood.

Then, at my own wedding, a chef buddy of mine, Rob Dasalla at The Table, introduced me to Bitburger Drive, a 0.0% alcohol pilsner style beer from

Germany that was the perfect solution to my sober lifestyle / love of beer conundrum.

This site reviews the best non alcoholic “near beers” brewed and dispels many of the myths surrounding non alcoholic beers. I’m here to show you that you can enjoy non alcoholic beverages like many people in other parts of the world do. Buying a near beer isn’t just for over the hill golfers sucking down O’Doul’s hoping not to hurt their handicap.
